The original kitchen in this timber framed listed farmhouse was small, dark and uninviting. We brought the kitchen into this light, airy Orangery, which also connected the existing dining and sitting rooms and became very much the heart of the house. The new structure was cleverly connected to the previous kitchen space using a fully glazed link, and the roof over provided a large decked balcony accessible from the master bedroom.
Tim Jasper worked with their celebrity clients on every aspect of their Surrey estate, including the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and panelled dining room. They also created an orangery and pool room in green oak, incorporating a spa, garden kitchen and infinity pool, as well as a helicopter pad, hangar and deluxe tennis pavilion.
Tim Jasper designed and managed every element of the renovation of this large ski chalet in Megeve in record time. The brief included the creation of five bathrooms, a new kitchen, staff quarters, a spa and Moroccan style steam room.
The principal members of the current team first came together at Uppark, the National Trust Mansion destroyed by fire, where Tim was employed to design and manage the restoration of the finely carved state rooms. A group of crafts people was assembled to carry out the repairs, and when the project was finished some of these joined Tim at the Valdoe to apply their unique expertise to the construction of new interiors, as well as the restoration of old ones.
Since then they have played a role in the restoration of Windsor castle, worked on numerous National Trust properties including Igtham Mote and Kew, and have produced countless interiors for private clients.
“You have finished the kitchen and it has become such a wonderful room! Thank you for all the advice and thoughts you have put into it, we absolutely love it!”
